Wondering about what you can do exercise-wise to strengthen and boost your immune system against covid-19 (aka the Coronavirus)? In today’s video I’ll be giving you three immune-boosting workout tips based on science! Also, at the end of the video I’ll offer you a calisthenics (bodyweight-based) routine that you can do at home or outdoors, regardless of what equipment you might or might not have.

Summary of Today’s Tips:
a) Train both Cardiovascular and Neuromuscular systems: Combining cardiovascular exercises with full-body strength-oriented exercises will maximize blood flow to the whole body all the way from your heart to your arms and legs (which as we mentioned previously is important for increasing our body’s ability to fight viruses).
b) Keep it frequent but short: You want to exercise on a daily basis but avoid extremes since overtraining can have the opposite effect. Specifically there is research showing that it is possible to suppress your immune system by doing too much[75]. Still, nothing to worry for most people since this was the case with elite athletes and long-term extreme exercise.
c) Get some fresh air:
Studies have shown that breaking a sweat outdoors, especially in natural environments like forests and parks, can boost the immune system even more. Also, to fully capitalize on the benefits of outdoor exercise, schedule your workouts if possible, for when there’s sunlight. Exposure to sunlight, especially in the mornings, can help regulate the body's circadian rhythms to further promote healthy immunity.
