Milky Way is our home. Our solar system lies inside this huge spiral that we call the Milky Way. There are about 40,000 crore stars in our galaxy! Atleast twice that amount of planets. Among them, atleast 100 crore planets will be Earth like planets. We don't even know whether there is life beyond our own Earh. Exoplanets might even have higher intelligent alien civilizations than ours. But, currently we don't have any technology to find those alien civilizations. Within about the next 500 crore years, our galaxy will collide with another huge galaxy called Andromeda Galaxy. Our Earth will be already devoured by the growing red giant Sun before that.
