Heartical label presents : "The Know Myself Chronicles", a riddim played by Basque Dub Foundation, mixed by Darren Jamtone and mastered by King Hervé at DK Mastering. Conscious Minds first recorded this rythm as an instrumental titled “Something new” which appeared on their dub album “Gun Court Dub Vol.4” in 1974. Then, Sly & the Revolutionaries turned it into a major hit for Channel One with Ernest Wilson’s “I Know Myself” & also Sly’s own instrumental cut “ A who say!” in 1978. Heartical Label's recut features exclusive vocals by Ernest Wilson & Papa Kojak, Dawn Penn, Joseph Cotton, General Levy, Zareb, Rootsamala, Tiwony and Original Uman. Also including the dub version by Jamtone, Sly Dunbar & BDF band, plus a melodica instrumental by Inyaki BDF.
