With COVID-19 spreading fast, Taiwan''s government has launched public information campaigns with guidance on how to prevent infection. To reach the international community, Taiwan Centers for Disease Control has been giving daily news updates in English. Meanwhile, a government-funded institute has produced a series of public health lessons, filmed in English, Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese.To raise awareness of epidemic prevention in Taiwan, the Institute for Information Industry has released a series of YouTube videos in Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian and English. I normally just open Facebook and there''s a lot of my friends that share links to different outlets telling us what is happening with the virus, what to do to prevent it, which areas are affected. Following the COVID-19 outbreak, Taiwan''s agencies are rushing to effectively spread knowledge that can prevent the further transmission of the virus.
