Ingredients
6 cups potatoes, preferably Russets, cubed 🥔
¾ cup hot milk 🥛
3 tbsps unsalted butter 🧈
Water for boiling, roughly 5 cups 💧
Salt & ground white pepper to taste 🧂
1 cup prepared gravy
To serve:
2 tbsp fresh chives or spring onions, chopped

0:10 Place potatoes and water in a soup pot filled with water. Ensure that the water completely covers the potatoes.
0:17 Cover and cook over low heat.
0:20 Continue boiling for roughly 20 minutes until potatoes are soft.
0:23 Drain the water.
0:30 Mash the potatoes using a masher or a ricer.
0:44 Add in your butter and milk. Mix until evenly incorporated.
0:58 Season your mashed potatoes with salt and ground black pepper. Then mix to combine.
