Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and ICT R&D Fund in collaboration with Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE) are launching their first ever joint venture known as RoboSprint 2012. RoboSprint is the most challenging robotics competition yet on the Pakistani Robotics scene. This is the rules & theme video of the competition for SPECIAL CATEGORY only.
There will be only one robot for this task. It can start from any point within the designated starting zones of the figure. The Checkered Flag will be preloaded on the robot. Challenge is to select the shortest path to the Golden Temple avoiding all the obstacles. The first robot that will insert the Checkered Flag in the Golden Temple's Flag Post will win. The Gates to the Golden Temple will be open and there will be no slit at the bridge zone.
