In this episode of Walks in Warsaw we invite you to explore Śródmieście - the central district of the capital city of Poland. This modern and forward-looking part of the city is the dynamic heart of the contemporary capital where the majority of the city’s hotels, restaurants and bars, but also government buildings, skyscrapers and places of commerce are situated.
We invite you to explore the Palace of Culture and Science - the notable high-rise building built in 1955, to go to the roof terrace with beautiful sunset views of Warsaw and then to walk throught the Downtown to the Warszawa Centralna railway station and to the Złote Tarasy commercial, office, and entertainment complex. We will see many skyscrapers designed by famous architectural studios such as Foster + Partners, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Daniel Libeskind.
