Summary
We consider this to be an excellent instrument, however, we think we should let Maciej “Mustafa” Giżejewski himself sum up the whole experience: “The Meinl Artisan Tango cajon has a characteristic, very warm tone. It feels soft when playing, but projects very nicely, which makes it possible to produce a lot of subtle sonic shades by applying ethnic drum playing techniques. The instrument is perfect for acoustic playing, both as rhythmic base and an extra percussion colour.“
