Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks like the exact shake-up 2D Mario needed to escape a slow descent into mediocrity. But, despite a beautiful new artstyle, engaging level design, and goofy power-ups, the inclusion of Princess Daisy just might be the most telling aspect of the game.
