During the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, the Historic Third Ward took a stand for leisurely brunches, inspirational art, favorite ‘fits and bringing people together over a frothy brew: Or, as we like to call it, #Beerpartisanship.
The neighborhood's walls and windows were dotted with Beerpartisanship 2024 posters, designed by the award-winning Milwaukee-based Hanson Dodge, as an ode to political propaganda posters from year’s past.
Then on Wednesday, July 17, all were welcome to celebrate all things #Beerpartisan in the Third Ward Beer Garden. From a free, limited-edition tapping of Explorium Brewpub's “Reach Across the Ale” beer, to conversation-starting card games, live music and plenty of laughs — it all happened in the name of #Beerpartisanship.
Hanson Dodge also be filmed individuals as they played a #Beerpartisanship card game, where people from different parties were rewarded with a free beer when they agreed on one of the questions listed on the cards. The tough questions, like: Does pineapple belong on a pizza? Those videos are compiled for you here.
Our fellow Americans: In July 2024, instead of highlighting our differences. the Historic Third Ward said “cheers” to community, unity and the freedom to kick back with a cold can of what made Milwaukee famous.
