How to Make a Self Binding Baby Blanket with Easy Mitered Corners.
If you have problems sewing mitred corners on your blanket, this tutorial is for you!
This step by step tutorial demonstrates how you can easily cut and sew one without having to stitch close to corners of fabrics or needing to turn inside out.
For beginners, there's just a little bit of marking to do and then just four corners to sew before sewing around the border to complete the blanket.

This blanket measures 28" ( 71cm) wide x 38" (96.5cm) long with a 1.5" wide self bound Border all around.
The inner fabric is cut 2'' (5cm) narrower and 2" (5cm) shorter
Outer fabric is cut 3" (7.6cm) bigger than inner fabric all around. This will give the blanket the 1.5" border all around the inner fabric.
You can use this calculation to make your blanket any size with the 1.5" border.
