we - that is, @seriouslysarah, myself, and a few other friends - bade farewell to one of my favourite places in singapore that has, since the time of recording, closed down: the library@esplanade where I once spent many late afternoons and evenings after school and over countless weekends because I didn't want to go home, and because this particular library was suitably dark and quiet. (this was also where Sarah and I started doing haphazard collaborations simply because we could - those sessions are among the reasons I started taking songwriting a little more seriously, too.)

here is Song of Patroclus, hastily recorded... but nonetheless one of my better attempts at performing it on the fly.
