General Motors released a line of Futurliners as part of their vision for the future and progress. This is one of only eight customer futurliners that was built during the late 30s and early 40s. Most people remember these custom machines as being part of General Motors Parade of Progress that travelled around America showcasing its beauty and look into the future- such as the Jet engine we see inside this 1939 GM futurliner.
This futurliner is currently owned by Dennis Albaugh of Iowa in his private classic car collection, truly a site to behold, its size and magnitude cannot be done justice in the video. I hope to see these futureliners out on the road.
