I went on a quick trip to Parana with my girlfriend in June 2022.
We explored the whole state - from Campina Grande do Sul to Sapopema - in 6 days.
Our favorite thing was hiking the famous Pico Paraná, which is the highest mountain in the south region of Brazil, with a height of 1.877 meters.
We also did the Itapiroca hike and camped on the summit of Itapiroca mountain. The ends with you facing Pico Parana and has one of the best views of it.
But of course, the most challenging and rewarding experience was hiking Pico Parana. Since it is not allowed to camp on the summit, we had to wake up 4 am to be able to hike up and then down again.
