🎒SPEED STOP BTB + SIDE STEP/STEP BACK🎒

One of my favorites to watch during March Madness was Payton Pritchard! Here he’s executing a speed stop BTB + side step/step back to create more space.

The 🔑 here is to delay your pickup when you are performing the side step/step back (moment when video is paused). In high school and college you need to delay it (or at least make it look smooth) so you’re not called for a travel. In the NBA it’s a gather step so it doesn’t have affect on a travel violation.
