Traditionally, endomyocardial biopsy has been used as the gold standard for monitoring allografts after transplantation. The use of non-invasive alternatives, however, would be safer for patients if they were proven to be as effective or more effective at identifying rejection. In this presentation, we discuss the potential utility of cardiac MRI in this context.
