Dungeon is a strong town with excellent heroes, including Gunnar the Logistics specialist, Shakti the Troglodyte specialist and Jeddite the Resurrection specialist. Their creature line-up is deadly at range thanks to Harpy Hags, Evil Eyes and Medusa Queens, but can struggle in close combat despite their ranged units' lack of melee penalty, due to often low HP and low damage potential. Red and Black Dragons are extremely hardy and can help protect these units. Dungeon's Mage Guild is also very good, one of only three (evil towns) that can teach Armageddon and by far the likeliest.

Dungeon's special buildings are exceptional. Even the lowly Battle Scholar Academy (which I forgot to mention in the script) outclasses many of its similar rivals by instantly adding a potential new secondary skill to level one hero recruits. The Mana Vortex and Portal of Summoning (via external Dragon Cave dwellings or similar) can outright win you the game.
