China is home to the world's widest distribution of karst topography. In fact, the spectacular karst topographic vistas of South and Southwest China have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. These unique landscapes take many forms, from stone forests to giant sinkholes, from underground forests to super caves. What’s more, each type nurtures its own splendid creatures such as the Pallas’s Squirrel, the White-headed Langurs and the endemic Red-spotted Toothed Toad.
