Hi, friends! Today I would like make short update about some unpleasant moment you can find in Las Terrenas, Samana, Dominican Republic, in the end of December 2022.

Las Terrenas is famous for its gorgeous beaches but be prepared to see now a lot of seaweed or sargassum. In many places they try to clean it, but still there is plenty of seaweed everywhere. The next annoying moment is amount of garbage you can find everywhere and even on the beaches.
And the last for today unpleasant moment I’ve noticed is that the town hasn’t yet recovered from the Fiona hurricane although it was like more than two month ago. So you can see a lot of broken boards, city lights and fences just lying on the streets.
But despite these small negative moments Las Terrenas is a vibrant, unique, beautiful and warm town and I hope you will have a great vacation here if you decide to come.
