4. SOUNDBITE (English) Benoit Swan Pouffer, choreographer and Artistic Director of Rambert:
"No, you don't - you don't need to be a fan. I think the work that I created, it's for everyone: for people who have never been to see dance, or people who have never seen the show. I think it's about characters and human beings and what they're going through, and like, who can relate - everyone can relate about this."
5. SOUNDBITE (English) Naya Lovell (Grace) and Guillaume Quéau (Tommy), dancers - on the show having a large fanbase:
Quéau: "Yes!"
Lovell: "A lot of fans."
Quéau: "Which is amazing, but it's also, I felt it's also a little bit of a responsibility because I feel like, if the fans watch the show, maybe they have certain expectations about what the person should look like as Grace or Tommy Shelby. And I feel this creates also an opportunity to find the middle ground between dance and Benoit's vision and Rambert's vision, and 'Peaky Blinders.' It's kind of like a new thing - like, there is an essence of it, but it's also - I wouldn't say modernized version of it, but it's our version of the story."

7. SOUNDBITE (English) Steven Knight, creator/writer "Peaky Blinders" - on not knowing anything about dance:
"I was never into dance. Dance was never a thing for me. I certainly can't dance myself. And then I sort of - I can't quite remember what the connection was. But we, it was suggested that I hook up with some people at Rambert and we got talking about this and that and there was a Peaky festival happening and they offered to do a 12-minute piece and it just was astonishing. I just loved it, and so then I was just writing series five, so I decided to put a scene in with a ballet company and obviously it was Rambert. And then we talked some more and then this idea came, which is great."
8. SOUNDBITE (English) Benoit Swan Pouffer, choreographer and Artistic Director of Ballet Rambert:
"Absolutely. I think Stephen didn't know he was a fan of dance, but he is. I think what he will relate to is emotion. And he said to me something very interesting, he said to me, 'Well, you convey an idea in 30 seconds, and when I do it in the series, it takes me hours to convey that idea.' So that's the power of dance. Dance for me and for everyone, you don't need to learn the language. It's body; it's the body. We speak internationally, so it doesn't matter where you're from. You will understand the story."
