Four-time Mister Motocross champ, Stephen Gall, is probably best known for bringing a whole new level of rider fitness and professionalism to the sport in Australia back in the late 1970s. But since first bringing CTi kneebraces into Australia in the late 1980s – Gall has also been synonymous with knee protection. For more than three decades, his company, Gall Brothers Medical, has forged a reputation as Australia’s leading authority on knee and wrist bracing solutions for athletes. Which is exactly why Stephen – now in business with his son, Shaun – was recently given the opportunity to add off-the-shelf kneebraces from Alpinestars and Aussie company, POD Active, to their CTi repertoire in Oz. As Gall Senior often stresses, “Whether your kneebaces are off-the-shelf or custom-made, it’s imperative that their fit to the leg is really good if they’re going to offer optimum protection.”
At a recent Transmoto event, Shaun Gall took us through the key things to look for when optimising the fit of POD’s new K8 kneebraces to your legs.
