Alicent Hightower and Criston Cole have one of the most unique connections in House of the Dragon. While it is easy to write them off as two people who are united against Rhaenyra Targaryen, that interpretation massively undercuts the sincerity of their bond and the horrific traumas that it took for both of them to get to where they are now.
