Manhattan is constantly evolving and Hudson Yards in midtown is New York's latest cool spot for both tourist and businesses. Built over the old Hudson Yards rail yards this place has parks, entertainment, restaurants, high end retail, apartments/condos and much more. It has become the go to hub for art, entertainment and business.
This 28 acre development is revitalizing the entire area. 30 Hudson Yards is the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere so obviously the highest in New York. Called the Edge its a deck 100 stories above midtown with tremendous views. There is also "the climb" where for a price you can scale the outside of the building an additional 1500 feet and lean over the edge. There is also the "vessel" the the "shed" entertainment venues. The "high line" trail is an elevated converted elevated rail bridge running from Hudson Yards to Chelsea. Its a blend of public and private park that is absolutely spectacular and very popular for locals and tourists alike.
The list of businesses that have moved here is a list of iconic brands including BlackRock, Amazon, Facebook and other financial and tech institutions spanning the list to also include creative TV studies such as Warner, HBO, CNN and Peloton. Located on the 7 subway line the area is accessible plus its right on the High Line urban elevated trail going to Chelsea.
The most amazing thing about this new city development is that its built as sustainable and green as possible.
