The multidisciplinary and interprofessional approach to the management of head and neck cancers
The "Train-the-Trainer" course is a two-day training workshop designed to promote the interprofessional management of head and neck cancers. Participants will have the chance to increase their understanding of the multidisciplinary cancer care model, acquiring competencies and discussing implementation strategies for their own institutions. Healthcare professionals who have attended the training are then encouraged to disseminate what they have learned and to replicate the multidisciplinary cancer care model in their own country. The programme is designed for a specialized audience composed by the three core members of the multidisciplinary team drawn possibly from the same centre (surgeon, radiotherapist and medical oncologist).
