Chandrayaan-3's scientific payloads on the Lander Module and Rover have specific objectives to enhance our understanding of the Moon and its surroundings. The RAMBHA payload will measure plasma density, while the ChaSTE experiment focuses on thermal properties of the lunar surface. ILSA will detect seismic activity and study the lunar crust and mantle, while the LRA aims to comprehend the dynamics of the Moon. The Rover's LIBS payload conducts elemental analysis, while APXS determines the composition of lunar soil and rocks. Additionally, the SHAPE payload seeks to uncover habitable planets through spectro-polarimetry. These payloads contribute to significant scientific discoveries and advance our knowledge of both the Moon and the universe as a whole.
