A sort of "part 2" to my previous (and much cooler) video of recording impulse responses in a derelict chapel ([ Ссылка ]).

Still got loads of ideas of places I want to do this in, so I intend to make this a bit of a series. I love the whole concept of IRs. I always forget that all you need is a balloon and a mic (you could totally get away with a phone nowadays). Anyone can do it and come up with some unique sounds. Need to start carrying a wee packet of balloons around!

The one I made in the chapel a couple of years ago sounds really good on drums on certain songs. This one isn't the greatest (might have been better to use a sine sweep), but I had always wanted to try it in this space and it fits the vibe of a thing I'm working on as of June '22.
