Things got heated on Monday between Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer and both defense and state attorneys during the pretrial hearing in the Alec Baldwin case. Judge Sommer became tense when initially talking to the defense after they requested a continuance, which she then denied. Shortly after, the judge was seen rolling her eyes at the state.

Famed actor and movie producer Alec Baldwin was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter in January for the death of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Hutchins died on Baldwin’s “Rust” movie set. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for Hutchins’ death. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
