My history with the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" franchise is long and storied. In this video, along with discussing this fact, I also unbox an amazing "Nightmare" collectible from Fear of the Dark Studios. Please refer to the "Chapter" markers below if you wish to skip ahead to anything.
CHAPTER 1: Growing Up a Fredhead - 2:53
I discuss part of my history growing up as part of the original "Fredhead" generation- "The Freddy Generation" and what the franchise and character mean to me, personally.
CHAPTER 2: The Elm Street Projects - 3:42
I'm lucky enough to have been part of many incredible "Nightmare"-related projects. The first of which were "Never Sleep Again" The Elm Street Legacy", both the feature documentary and book- as a filmmaker and book editor. I discuss this phase of my fandom in this section.
CHAPTER 3: Meeting Wes and "Becoming" Freddy - 4:27
I talk briefly about meeting Wes before he passed away (in 2015) as well as portraying the Robert Englund version of the character for Warner Bros Studios.
CHAPTER 4: Elm Street Tunes - 5:34
I discuss scoring various "Elm Street"-related projects created by fans (like me) FOR fans who have an undying loyalty to and passion for the franchise and its characters.
CHAPTER 5: Unboxing Freddy - 7:55
This section features me unboxing a long-awaited prize possession: a superb, life-size replica of the face of Fred Krueger- with the original David Miller makeup- as he appeared in the seminal, first film.
