Quick run through on getting audio output routed from your DAW to a free screen capture software. I'm using Presonus Studio One 4 and a Presonus Quantum audio interface. Links to OBS Studio and Voicemeeter software are below.

While OBS Studio is open source please be aware that Voicemeeter is donationware, so if you're using it "professionally" please take that into account.


It was brought to my attention that the mono button wasn't ticked so after exporting the video there was only left side audio for the voice over. If you select "Mono" on your hardware input for your mic you can avoid this.
