AutoX – one of China’s biggest autonomous ride-share companies – recently announced that it was opening a new operations center in San Francisco, where Waymo and Cruise operate. It’s the latest in a string of Chinese companies to expand their presence in California.
So could this mean we’ll soon see Chinese driverless robotaxis from the likes of DiDi and Baidu’s Apollo on U.S. roads?
