An Egyptian court has sentenced 75 people, including senior Muslim Brotherhood leaders, to death for their part in protests against the 2013 military coup.
Fifty others were given a life sentence. Among them was them Mohamed Badie, the Brotherhood’s spiritual leader.
Those sentenced are accused of security-related offences, including incitement to violence and organising illegal protests.
