Overview of the Selective Laser Sintering Process from LPE.
Selective Laser Sintering (LS) refers to the Rapid Prototyping process by which prototype models are built (or grown) layer by layer in an bed of Rapid Prototyping powder. With no support structures required the LS process requires very little post production clean-up allowing for rapid turnaround on even the most complex of components.
With a dedicated Selective Laser Sintering machine room and a choice of 5 LS materials (including Alumide & PrimeCast) LPE has the capacity and know how to deal with projects ranging from one off prototypes to short production runs.
