This steering box was in the 1961-1963 F-100 2WD, and may have been in some trucks before then and after too.
It was a one piece system that did not have a rag joint or crash safe collapsable column. It is a bit more than 5 turns lock to lock manual operation.
In this video I take apart 3 boxes and make one with the best components. Likely will build one more from the rest of the parts. Details show how the adjustments are made especially the sector shaft which takes a bit of understanding on what is happening inside the box.
