Our visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site Three Castles of Bellinzona, Switzerland. Situated in a narrow mountain pass between Italy and Switzerland, where over the centuries many trade routes have passed through. Lacking in resources and food, the ingenious locals built toll booths, fortified by these three incredible castles. The wall once stretched across the entire valley - crazy!
