In this video we explore an untold story from the battle of Platea in 479 BC. This story is passed down to us through the colourful writings of Herodotus, where he describes how the events unfolded on the ground. In the early stages of the battle, he tells us of an incident which occurred between the Athenians and a renowned Persian Commander.
