The BDS Movement seeks to demonize and isolate the State of Israel. Through boycott tactics, it attempts to drive an economic and cultural wedge between Israel and the rest of the world. Introduced by Republicans and Democrats, the Israel Anti-Boycott Act will expand trade laws to stop BDS in its tracks. The legislation is limited to harmful commercial activities and in no way limits free speech protected by the First Amendment. It also counters BDS by calling for expanded civilian science and technology cooperation between the US and Israel. US Congress has a long history of standing with Israel. This support must continue!
