Macrofat & microfat is used for volume augmentation.
Large cannula = macrofat. Harvested fat bigger. A lot of times doctors use large cannula and leaves lumps bumps.
Microfat = small cannula usually smaller then 2 mm in diameter with 1mm hole. Microfat only in the face, reduces possibility of lumps, bumps, and irregularies. Of course, there’s an art to anything that has to do with surgery
Nanofat: get rid of fat cells and left with stem cells. The FUTURE if aesthetics.
