Welcome to the ultimate "Green Hell", where you are greeted by the fierce wraith of Mother Nature. Lightning all a round, wind is strong, rain pours. Your job is to maneuver yourself out of this awfully glow-er looking version of The Golden, and into the abyss of Natural Disaster. Stolen by Γ, the copius amounts of glows brighten your vision to completion.
Let us move on from the fiction, and raise some issues that has started right here, on Earth, recently.
Forget Climate change. When it reformed itself to Climate Warning, then to Climate Crisis, Earth doesn't look like an ideal choice anymore. The UN secretary general, António Guterres, said we are on the "highway to climate hell".

A United Nations report has found that the Earth's ozone layer is gradually recovering. The report states that the Montreal Protocol, which was implemented in 1987 to phase out the use of ozone-depleting substances, has been successful in reducing the levels of those substances in the atmosphere. This has led to a decrease in the size of the ozone hole over Antarctica and a reduction in the amount of harmful UV radiation reaching the Earth's surface. However, the report also highlights the need for continued efforts to ensure that the recovery of the ozone layer is sustained in the future.

In March of 2023, the World Economic Forum, or WEF, releases an article named "The Antarctic ice sheet is melting. And this is bad news for humanity"
The few key points in this article include one, the Antarctic Ice Sheet has been strongly decreasing since 2016, two, if left untouched, the full melting of the West Antarctic sheet will cause a 3.3 meter(9.48 ft) rise in sea levels, and three, currently we are on the track of raising 2.8 degrees Celsius(37 degrees Fahrenheit) by the end of the 21st century.

So what can we do?
Thankfully, we are not completely hopeless. We started it all. Therefore we can end it all.
1. Save Energy at home
Much of our electricity and heat is powered by coal, oil and gas. Use less energy by lowering your heating and cooling, switching to LED light bulbs and energy-efficient electric appliances, washing your laundry with cold water or hanging things to dry instead of using a dryer.
2. Walk, cycle or take public transport
The world’s roads are clogged with vehicles, most of them burning diesel or petrol. Walking or riding a bike instead of driving will reduce greenhouse gas emissions – and help your health and fitness. For longer distances, consider taking a train or bus. And carpool whenever possible.
3. Throw away less food
When you throw food away, you're also wasting the resources and energy that were used to grow, produce, package and transport it. And when food rots in a landfill, it produces methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. So use what you buy and compost any leftovers.
4. Reduce, Reuse, Repair & Recycle
Electronics, clothes and other items we buy cause carbon emissions at each point in production, from the extraction of raw materials to manufacturing and transporting goods to market. To protect our climate, buy fewer things, shop second-hand, repair what you can and recycle.
5. Change your home's source of energy
Ask your utility company if your home energy comes from oil, coal or gas. If possible, see if you can switch to renewable sources such as wind or solar. Or install solar panels on your roof to generate energy for your home.
These are some of the many steps you can take to contribute to the revival of Gaia. Learn more here: [ Ссылка ]
