Meredith College’s Department of History, Political Science, and International Studies presented a webinar, Collecting Women’s Histories, on November 18, 2020. The event focused on collecting and telling women's histories, featuring guest speaker Kira Lyle from the University of South Carolina, who presented "A Woman’s Place is in the Archive: Archiving South Carolina Women and the Development of a Counter-Collection." The webinar also featured Carrie Nichols, Head of Meredith College Archives and Public History major Inaya Rivera discussing their work on the Beverly Perdue Collection and alumna Morgan Johnson, ’20, who presented her work collecting women’s oral histories.
