A simple blood test has been described as an "enormously exciting" development in the fight against cancer.
The procedure can test for eight common forms of the disease at the same time - scientists in America say it could even spot them before symptoms develop.
The development could mean doctors are able to catch more cancers at the crucial, early stage.
