The railway model specialty store "Popondetta" has outlets across Japan, and the Akihabara branch occupies an entire building. From new to used items, including parts like wheelsets and even bus models, they offer a wide range of products. The experience of operating model trains on the diorama on the second floor was delightful! I chose the Kintetsu Limited Express "Shimakaze" and enjoyed running it freely. Later, we visited "PLATINUM FISH," a restaurant near Akihabara Station, where we savored homemade hamburgers while enjoying the close-up view of trains passing by the former Manseibashi Station.
