Hello Friends.
I went on a guided group tour today. If you visit Vietnam, I highly recommend taking this tour. It takes an entire day. Guided tours are enjoyable, and the fact that you do not have to worry about the itinerary is a bonus.
We took a bus to Ninh Binh, starting at the Hoa Lu Temples and learning about earlier reigning dynasties.
We had a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant before traveling to Tam Coc.
Took a lovely boat cruise and had the opportunity to cycle through rural communities; if you prefer not to cycle, you can stay in the bus.
To take the trip at Tam Coc, we were paired up.
The final visit was the Mua Caves, which we trekked up, and wow was it challenging! On the way down, I was walking sideways like a crab, because it was a little scary, especially because certain areas had larger stairs.
