The hillside Stade des Ruvines is the home ground of FC Vignoble Cully and built into the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage site just east of the Swiss city of Lausanne. With grand views down onto Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) the pitch offers a breathtaking panorama, which is only accentuated by the steep peaks of the French Alps across the water and the Swiss pinacles of Vaud and Valais further in the distance. The ground is cute into the hillside and the clubhouse sits above the pitch, with players having to walk down a steep set of steps to reach the playing field. It all adds to the ambiance and unique layout!
