Matt G. Southern reported on Google's March 2024 Core Update, which has deindexed hundreds of websites, targeting AI-generated spam and emphasizing high-quality, human-generated content.
According to analyses by Ian Nuttall, 837 websites out of 49,345 monitored sites have been completely removed from Google's search index in the early stages of the update.
The consequences for these deindexed sites are significant, leading to substantial losses in traffic and revenue.
