In this clip, Scott Morrison Woodworker demonstrates the technique involved in shaping the arms of a Sam Maloof inspired rocking chair. Using grinders and an artistic eye for detail, Scott shapes the raw wood, bulky arms into elegant, shapely and curvaceous parts of this beautiful example of woodworking.
The grinding wheel I use is called a Holey Galahad, and is available at Woodcraft. I use the most aggressive, blue colored wheel.
