The Mirage Casino is closing soon, progressive money giveaway on Las Vegas Strip.
Thanks to a Nevada gaming policy, casino players have a chance to win over $1.6 million at the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel and Casino before it closes its doors on July 17.
Attendees have the chance to play slots or table games to win prizes during the “Progressive Finale Cash Giveaway,” which started July 9 and promises to payout over $1.6 million in cash, the casino said.
The progressive slot machine promotion will give away $200,000 in guaranteed cash prizes on July 9, 10 and 11, $250,000 on July 12 and 13 and $100,000 on July 16. The promotions start at 3 p.m. each day and end at 7 p.m., with drawings happening every hour.

The additional $400,000 in progressive table game drawings will take place at 8 p.m. on July 12 and 13. Entires are earned by playing any qualifying table game — which include face-up pai gow, ultimate Texas hold 'em, three card poker, let it ride, blackjack and baccarat — between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the two dates.

Hard Rock International, the property’s new owners, are embarking on a multi-year construction project that will transform the Mirage into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and Guitar Hotel Las Vegas. The project is expected to be completed by 2027.
