My Marine Corps School of Infantry experience as a whole wasn't that bad. SOI will be the first time you get to learn and do the job you signed up for. It will be your first time getting to see what it takes and how to be an Infantry Marine. SOI is your time to learn your job, so when you do hit the fleet you're ready.
