Update: The Item I Was Most Excited To Show You!

This was such an incredible opportunity!!

Whoever it was who told Robin about me THANK YOU! We had so much fun going through all sorts of random things together in her smooth operation. Everyone there was so kind and they were working hard to get everything they could staged and posted. Vintage wedding dresses really don't do well in auctions, especially locally and that has nothing to do with the value of the dress. It really has to do with having an audience who is actively looking for one, have the ability and time to stage them to showcase them fully, and be able to hold on to them and store them until they find their person. Auctions generally run for a week or so and the net they cast is very local, which is fantastic for most items but for wedding dresses it can be a real struggle and they either end up in thrift stores on Halloween racks or disposed of and tossed and a landfill.

Robin wanted to make sure that didn't happen and there were about 100 vintage wedding dresses there to go through! I did my best to take what I thought I could find new homes for and found so many other neat items that I can't wait to show you. I offered her a nice lump sum and carted myself on home to unload my newest treasure trove! There's one item in particular I'm really excited to reveal 🫣
