In order to achieve a powerful golf swing you must learn to turn your shoulders early in your backswing. The rotation of your shoulders is a key power source in the golf swing. In fact, it is impossible to turn and rotate your shoulders too early when you start your golf swing.
One common mistake amongst amateur golfers is the tendency to lift the golf club up using just their hands and arms. This will inevitably lead to the power produced in their golf swing being dependent on the strength of their smaller muscles.
