In this video we pretend to be an electrical lineman and use our bucket truck to repair a pretend power line. We also collect lightening bugs with our ride on toy truck to make a lantern and play with our Bruder toys to fix a toy power outage.

It's a storming evening and a tree falls on our pretend power lines that go to the playhouse. It causes the light to turn off while the family was settling down for bed. Unfortunately the generator didn't start either. Kid Crew gets to work though and starts collecting lightening bugs with a huge net on the back of his kids truck. He makes a lantern and gives it to dad, who is then able to fix the generator. The morning light reveals the extent of the damage to our pretend electrical grid. Kid Crew jumps into action with his 6 wheeled bucket truck! He first secures the sight with caution tape and cones. Then shuts off power by turning a pretend fuse holder. Then he uses his toy Stihl chainsaw to remove the branch, and then straightens the power pole. Next he goes up in the bucket to hammer it in with his tool hammer. Finally he starts to repair the broken rope that we're pretending is wire. He uses a crimp connector and then wraps it in electrical tape. Next, we play a fun game you can do at home. We use our Bruder trucks and construction toys to simulate a power outage and vehicle crash. We use a Bruder garbage truck, police truck, ambulance, bucket truck, and crane truck. In the educational segment we learn how electrical grids work. We also share an important safety tip about electrical wires. If you see a downed electrical wire, stay far away and never touch it. Go tell an adult and make sure that they contact emergency services.
